Turn an ordinary Candle into Something Special.
Is it Spring yet?
Alas…no, but this little project will surely brighten your day.
But first a confession…
You see… As I have got older, I have turned into quite the prepper. You never know…Right!
 What if…
The power goes off, (gasp of horror).
Food supply’s run low.
A comet passes by the earth and causes giant tidal wave’s, (in Kentucky)
  And worse…
Hobby Lobby runs out of candles.
Well in my home this would never be a problem.
Candles… I have them every where. Big, small, fat, skinny, battery operated, most smelling like baked apple pie or cinnamon rolls. You name it, I have one.
And…On the odd occasion that the power does go off, I’m ready, with my little Bic lighter. lighting every thing with a wick, like a mad woman on a mission.
Ok…got that off my chest. Back to the project.
I found this candle last year at a thrift store, on sale! for only $8.00! It’s huge, and it was, did I mention, on sale!! and it has 3 wicks and would light up a room for at least a fortnight.
But…It was boring, and plain and didn’t even have a fragrance. It needed some umph.
 All you need…
- Candle. Any size or color.
- Glue Gun/glue stick.
- Paper or dried flowers and leaves.
I simply arranged the flowers and the leaves and glued them on, starting at the base and working my way up.
Its that easy.
I hope this little project brightened your day.
